After months of debilitating pain in my right leg and hip and a rather traumatic first appointment with another hip surgeon who told me only about the risks of any surgery, I saw Mr Carrothers for a second opinion. He listened carefully and immediately gave me back my confidence with his positive and empowering attitude.
He carried out my total hip replacement with Robotic-Arm Assisted surgery, which through its precision, I am sure, contributed to my fast recovery. My treatment was based on cutting-edge research for which I am very grateful. Today, 5 weeks after the operation I am free of pain and astonishingly mobile. I could not have asked for better care.
