My first appointment with Mr Carrothers was to discuss not just a new hip replacement operation but also to address a previous issue with the other hip that was causing me ongoing problems. Mr Carrothers was immediately respectful, patient and attentive to my situation and my needs. He answered all my questions clearly, offering me a realistic assessment of what I could expect. This honest approach gave me confidence to proceed.
In due course, Mr Carrothers performed the operation which was a 100% success. It is clear to me that even with Mr Carrothers' considerable knowledge and many years' experience, he still takes great interest in each and every individual patient, and I was definitely a beneficiary of this high professional standard. My life is much improved following my operation for which he has my sincere gratitude.
