Mr Carrothers carried out a full knee replacement on my right knee for me in November 2012 which was very successful. As I was suffering from pain in 2023 in my left knee I consulted Andrew again.
In my consultation he explained very carefully and in straightforward terms that was easy to understand the problem with the wear in my knee and gave a very clear recommendation that a full replacement would be the best option.
The operation was done on 9 January 2024 and I have just returned for my 6 week review which showed that the operation was totally successful.
The operation was assisted by the Mako Robotic Arm and I believe that this has resulted in a faster and less painful post-operation recovery.
I would recommend Mr Carrothers 100% as an excellent surgeon for knee or hip replacement. In addition to his obvious expertise, he is very friendly and appoachable and has an excellent bedside manner.
