When asked what my aims were after my hip replacement, I remember saying that I wanted to walk upright for my eightieth birthday which was fast approaching. I was fed up with looking like the the road traffic sign of the couple crossing the road.
Mr. Carrothers assured me that this was possible . Here I am a few weeks further on and I am walking tall again. He always made me feel at ease , that he was really listening to me and from remarks made around the Hospital he is a much respected and admired figure in their midst . I really look forward to seeing him again in a years time.
