His knowledge and clinical skills cannot be in doubt; when I put my spine in his hands I had great faith in his ability to improve my condition. He did.
He is very attentive and informative, radiating calm confidence. He visits patients every day, always smartly dressed (I never saw him in his scrubs), and is willing to answer questions.
What I found particularly refreshing was his attitude. He does not put on airs and graces. He has a sense of humour, and can even put up with gentle teasing from a patient.
