The care given by Mr. Bowey was outstanding and he has given my daughter her life back. He is not only a brilliant surgeon but discusses everything with the patient at an appropriate level for their understanding. No question is unimportant, and he answered all my daughters concerns and throughout her care post surgery offered advice on returning to normal life, taking part in sports. Even on discharge he has left his door open that if there are any questions or concerns to get in touch, you can't ask for more. As a result I have a happy, confident, pain free and physically fit young women who will be eternally grateful for this care.

His knowledge and clinical skills cannot be in doubt; when I put my spine in his hands I had great faith in his ability to improve my condition. He did. He is very attentive and informative, radiating calm confidence. He visits patients every day, always smartly dressed (I never saw him in his scrubs), and is willing to answer questions. What I found particularly refreshing was his attitude. He does not put on airs and graces. He has a sense of humour, and can even put up with gentle teasing from a patient.

Mr Bowey is not just an excellent, dedicated spinal surgeon, he genuinely cares about his patients, and always shows great empathy, patience, and understanding. I had major spinal surgery under him last year, and always felt completely confident in his care, and reassured by his calm and compassionate approach. I feel very fortunate to be under the care of this exemplary surgeon.
