Doctor Bhargava first treated my father for stage 3 colorectal cancer around 3 years ago now. The big C word can be a hard pill to swallow especially when my father is a lot younger than the usual victims of this horrible disease. I was 20 years old and facing the possibility of loosing my father and having already seen my grandmother pass away from the same disease I didn’t have much hope unfortunately. I associated cancer with so many horrible things. Dr bhargava made me feel like everything would be OK, he was open and honest and never kept anything from us as a lot of doctors may refrain from using certain words when family members are Present with the patient. I felt that my father was in the best hands possible, it’s something I don’t think I’ll ever really be able to explain but I just knew Dr Bhargava would save my fathers life. I trusted him without even knowing him and his positive nature gave us the hope we needed to fight this battle. His expertise and motivation to eradicate this disease is truly remarkable, you don’t feel like another cancer patient with him you feel like a human being and that his sole focus is on you and your care. My father will be clear 2 years soon (he relapsed but Dr Bhargava eradicated it again) and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank him enough, it’s not something that I will ever be able to repay him for. He really doesn’t receive the recognition he deserves. Thank you for being our miracle!
