Mr Bhargava recently did a colonoscopy for me as I had symptoms of bowel cancer. Bowel cancer was diagnosed, and he went on to perform laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery a few weeks later. Throughout this whole experience I have been impressed not only with his technical skill, which is exceptional, but also his communication and interpersonal skills. I have felt extremely well informed throughout and he took great care to make sure I had understood what the situation was and what would be involved in treating me. He also showed great compassion and kindness in his manner towards me which is so important when you are feeling vulnerable and frightened.
My treatment was through the NHS at King George Hospital in Romford, the care could not have been better.
