I've had my second successful fusion of two metatarsal joints in December 2020, having had the first fusion of my right foot done in September 2013. I can now walk without any osteoarthritic pain in either foot which is amazing. Mr Abbassian and his team, including Oliver Chan, listened to me carefully and agreed to do the surgery within 5 minutes in September 2020 and I had the operation done in December 2020, only several months later, despite Covid. The pain management was amazing and I only had one bad night of pain. I enjoyed a long walk on the Devon Coastal Path in June 2021 and have been on a wonderful walking holiday in Northumberland over Christmas 2021. How wonderful to be able to enjoy walking again.
