Ali listens …. Quietly and carefully. He chooses his words with care and I heeded his advice. He was spot on with diagnosis and my foot surgery was a complete success. The staff at Fortius clinic London were kind and courteous. I have no hesitation in giving Ali Abbasian 5 stars and cannot praise him highly enough. He also unusually for a consultant kept in touch with me via Whatsapp which was much appreciated as I live out of Town.

Mr Abbasian is caring, compassionate, and very reassuring. He explained my procedure in detail and made the time to answer all of my questions. He was highly recommended to me as an expert in his field and I am delighted with the outcome. I cannot praise the quality of his (and his team's) care during my surgery and recovery highly enough.

Dear Ali Having now settled in at home following my recent toe operation at your clinic, I thought I would just express my sincere thanks for the care and personal attention received. From my first impressions when I met you in late May for a consultation regarding my aggravated toe problem, right up to a few days ago when I saw you just 1 week after the removal by you of the major part f the small left toe, I have experienced nothing short of a most open and pleasurable atmosphere at the Schoen Clinic(now Fortius), which although now part of a larger organisation, is, from all outward appearances run on the very same family orientated lines. Your staff are personally interested in welcoming patients with the effect that one is put firmly at ease in what can be an apprehensive time, not knowing how things are going to work out. The ethos you instil in your staff is openly visible and is a great comfort for what is an anxious time for prospective patients. The operation and your colleagues preparations was smooth and efficient. I have had many operations and procedures in my time , as you will know from the medical history I gave you when we first met, and I can honestly say that your clinic and the staff and the procedure I underwent, stands high in the list of hospitals and specialists I have seen and in which I have been a patient, over many years. I cannot fault a single thing about my short stay as a day patient last week. I would go further and say that if one has to enter hospital for whatever procedure, I cannot think of a better and happier environment to have it done at your clinic. I can tell you that 9 days after the operation, I am progressing more speedily than I could ever have imagined. When I whatsapped one of my sons, who happens to be working in Panama for the last 3 years, together with his family, to report my progress, even 1 day after the operation, and without any after effects from either the anaesthetic or pain from the wound, he remarked that he was impressed, and said, 'dad, you must be strong!' I can’t thank or praise Mr.AliAbbasian enough for taking on my problem. In 2022 I was diagnosed with a DeadTalus Bone which is very rare and the only cure is a Total Talus Replacement. The operation has only been performed a few times in this country and I was having great difficulty in finding a surgeon. A friend new of Mr. Abbisians work reputation and spoke to him about my case. I had a consultation. At the Schoen clinic in London with him. He had thought to fuse the ankle, as he had not performed a Talus replacement, but on seeing my M R I scans he could see it was not possible as the Talus was crumbling. So in Jan 2023 he successfully performed the operation. Only 2night stay in hospital, 2weeks in a cast, 4weeks in a boot, then walking in my own shoes - brilliant! Just recently had 3month check - all good, we are both delighted, Mr. Ali Abbisian is charming and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend him. Dr Ali is definitely one of the best in the country. I was devastated after my ankle fracture and was fortunate to have randomly booked an appointment with him. From our initial consultation to now 4 months post surgery, he has been extremely supportive and answered every question I had. I'm now confident that I will make a great recovery and I know he'll always offer a solution if any complications were to occur.

I had been suffering a damaged right ankle for some five years. Had been to Podiatrist for orthotics and had pain killing injections. They were fine at first but as the ankle became worse the pain became extreme. I was told don’t have ankle surgery as it will not work. As the pain got acute (bone on bone) and my ability to walk significantly impaired. I sought out the best surgeon I could find. Ali Abbasian was recommended by a number of medical people. From first consultation Ali was magnificent he explained carefully the options of fusion or full ankle replacement. I absolutely did not want fusion and Ali said replacement the best option. He carefully explained the risks and I felt reassured he would do his utmost to achieve the best outcome for me. I had the operation in November last year. Now four months on I am totally pain free and back to walking normally and last week did a three mile walk along the towpath. I cannot recommend Ali highly enough his manner is kind and considerate and his surgical skills second to none. My ankle was in a very poor state and complicated by ligament damage causing severe lateral weakness. Ali repaired the ligaments and my ankle is straight and back to the way it was before the problem started. I am so grateful to this man.

Mr Ali Abbasian is a real gentleman in every sense of the word. Kind, considerate, caring and patient in listening to my concerns! His skill in performing a total ankle replacement of my left ankle - with his excellent team assisting him - is one I would be happy to praise and recommend! From the first consultation to the follow-ups - he has been extremely courteous and caring! Explaining the pros and cons of the surgery, and its beneficial results in going ahead with the operation, was re-assuring. Never felt any qualms about having the operation. So pleased I did! After seven years of constant pain that was increasing, I am able to walk tall and feel years younger! Able to sleep through the night pain free - wonderful! I've had my second successful fusion of two metatarsal joints in December 2020, having had the first fusion of my right foot done in September 2013. I can now walk without any osteoarthritic pain in either foot which is amazing. Mr Abbassian and his team, including Oliver Chan, listened to me carefully and agreed to do the surgery within 5 minutes in September 2020 and I had the operation done in December 2020, only several months later, despite Covid. The pain management was amazing and I only had one bad night of pain. I enjoyed a long walk on the Devon Coastal Path in June 2021 and have been on a wonderful walking holiday in Northumberland over Christmas 2021. How wonderful to be able to enjoy walking again. Mr Ali Abbassian was simply fantastic in the treatment of my Achilles rupture earlier this year. The injury is a long one but from start to finish he was considerate, answered all of my questions and made sure I was moving forward in the right direction. I was referred to Mr Ali Abassian by my private doctor. I had been suffering from very painful plantar fasciitis in my fight heel for about 3 months. It was very helpful to have the original diagnosis properly confirmed by an MRI scan at the Schoen Clinic. Mr Abassian clearly outlined the treatment options and ruled out steroid injections because of the risk of causing permanent damage. He recommended a series of shockwave therapy which although initially painful seems to have eased the pain. I found Mr Abbasian a pleasure to deal with and the Schoen Clinic extremely clean, convenient and efficient. I would most certainly recommend him to others.
