Mr Hotouras took over the care of my father during a recent acute surgical admission, and has looked after him ever since. Throughout, he has been kind, patient and attentive; he has constantly gone above and beyond, which has been even more impressive in light of the current pressures of the NHS. He has been exceedingly thorough and we've all been very grateful to how he has considered my father's dignity and wishes at every opportunity, and led his team to do the same. Even when not able to be there in person, he has provided a careful safety netting plan and has encouraged my father to continue to work hard at his recovery, with the aim of returning him to his normal self (prior to admission). Additionally, Mr Hotouras' genuine care and compassion has been unparalleled and he has earned our total trust in his clinical judgement, as well as his commitment to complete honesty and transparency, despite the difficulty at times in having to do so. After a life-threatening hospital stay in hospital, my father is now recovering at home thanks to Mr Hotouras' fantastic surgical skills and commitment, which we know is dedicated to my father's long-term health and surgical outcome. I would happily recommend Mr Hotouras to anyone looking to find a truly fantastic surgeon. My family and I will be forever grateful.
