I write this on behalf of my family, for our brother who has Downs syndrome (age 53). It was a major operation for our brother (who is non-verbal), the family were nervous about the whole process and concerned about how our brother would deal with the procedure. Mr Hotouras explained the procedure and tried to reassure us, that our brother was in good hands. Throughout our brothers stay in hospital, Mr Hotouras checked on him regularly, engaging with him with high-fives, acknowledging him, even though our brother understood very little. Mr Hotouras shows compassion, empathy, in a professional manner. During recovering at home Mr Hotouras, has reassured us that we could contact him if we had any concerns, this put our minds at rest knowing there was someone to talk to.
