I met Doctor Hotouras after several colon surgeries, I woke up by him and a couple of other doctors by my bed. Doctor Alex explained that he was the surgeon behind my surgeries and explained what had happened and explained the challenges the surgeries came across. Till this day I can only thank God for him being the person to conduct my surgeries but not only that, but to also aid my healing process. He came to my ward, to my bedside, almost every day with a smile and fist full of optimism; he didn’t give up on me and he allowed me to trust him and the process. I went in hospital for a simple stoma reversal keyhole surgery but unfortunately things took such a turn that it was really hit and miss for me. Doctor Hotouras I can’t thank him enough for what I firmly believe was him saving my life. It really does show that knowledge of what you’re doing is 50% but the care, attention, determination, tenacity make up the other 50%. Along with the other doctors and nurses I have another great chance of life at the sweet age of 66. I don’t know anyone who needs colon surgery but if anyone reads this and chooses Dr Alex for such surgery you’ll be making the best decision you’ve ever made.
