Mr Hardy saw my little boy late one night in the Emergency Dept. with a suspected appendicitis. He was very kind and caring with my son and achieved great empathy with him. His manner was most professional and was able to be most reassuring. He advised a "watch and wait" policy and we went home. Mr Hardy's clinical diagnosis was proved to be correct and surgery was avoided and the symptoms settled over a few days. I am most grateful for the superb care provided that night
