Alam performed my tonsillectomy and did a brilliant job. I did some research online and amongst friends in the medical profession beforehand to ensure that I would get a top notch ENT specialist. At the consultation he examined me and explained the procedure - he was very clear about the risk of bleeding post-op which put my mind at ease. He performed the operation with great skill and did a very neat job. He came to see me afterwards to check all was ok. It was clear he had a great working relationship with the anaesthetist which was good to see. Throughout the entire process, he felt accessible and was very willing to help. A final note - I had this surgery performed on my private medical insurance. As well as being a great medical professional and a good guy, Alam makes the whole process of claiming for the cost of the procedure extremely easy. I can't speak highly enough of him.
