Mr Khalaf performed a uterine myomectomy for me recently with great success. I have been healing well and my scar is barely visible (after only a month). I was an extremely anxious patient- frightened of the general anesthetic, of the operation itself and of taking painkillers but needed the operation due to pressure on my bladder, pain and swelling of my abdomen; not to mention the desire to have a child. I had been told by another top surgeon that he wouldn't attempt the operation without putting me on drugs to shrink my fibroids first (bringing on unwanted and possibly irreversible menopause) and that it would be tricky procedure because of the size and location of the larger growth (low down and on the outside of the uterus). Mr Khalaf is a highly skilled gynaecologist and surgeon who always puts patients' needs and desires first. He is modest, warm, patient, kind and gentle- with real integrity. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
