What I particularly liked about Dr. Hamouda is he listened to what I wanted and why I wanted it. I say this because I went in wanting the gastric band and whilst it is the cheapest option to have out of band, sleeve and partial stomach removal, I wanted to get back to work one week later (which I have albeit from home) What I liked particularly about Dr. Hamouda is he took the time to explain it all in detail, what would happen to me, the pre op diet, the operation, the few days after and what to expect. He is not at all pushy and he even mentioned that it is a tool he is providing me with and not a magic cure that will just melt away the fat. Obviously there are people who will cheat/abuse it but what's the point? I feel fantastic one week on although I am not saying it didn't hurt. You kind of expect it to. I would recommend Dr. Hamouda to do anybody's surgery. I know, for a fact, that some people like to save money and go abroad (it's cheaper) but then you still have to pay for the after care (up to 2 years) so if you go abroad, you're not actually saving because you will need to be seen by Nurses after the operation for wound healing; band refills or loosening etc; physiotherapy and nutritional advice too. Seriously, if you are considering having a bariatric procedure, if under Dr. Hamouda and his staff, you'll be in safe and caring hands all the way!
