I cannot rate Mr Farquharson highly enough for my care as the care I received was exemplary.
Mr Farquharson is professional and kind I was given all information with honesty and clarity (I don't like waffle).
Whilst I was an in-patient I was seen daily. I had a post op wound infection and I struggled with the bowel preparation. Mr Farquharson apologised for the infection even though I did not apportion blame as it is a risk with surgery also he acknowledged my struggles with the bowel prep seriously, offering me a possible alternative for the future. These simple acts displayed time taken to read my notes, listen to me seriously, address my concerns and answer any questions without patronising and improve my experience.
Mr Farquharson was also explaining he was training on specialist surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes this is only to be applauded showing a continuous strive for excellence to benefit patients under his care.
Mr Farquharson is a kind, caring and compassionate surgeon, I would choose to remain under his care (at least until he retires!) and thank you from the bottom of my heart for my care and my life from myself and my daughter.
