Mr Ajis carried out a Total Ankle Replacement operation on my left ankle on January 4th. Five months on I am a new man, regularly walking with no assistance 2 miles daily, having previously being crippled with arthritis. The operation took two and a half hours under anaesthetic and I was home within 36 hours. After resting and keeping weight off the foot for two weeks I had the clips removed and a boot fitted. After a further couple of weeks I was able to hop around on a zimmer frame without assistance. I arranged physiotherapy and carried out regular exercises which assisted in getting forward/reverse and side to side movement restored. This was painful at first but became less so with time. At my 6month inspection Mr Ajis was very encouraging and fully understood any concerns I had, and told me that very good progress had been made and that I should undertake longer walks and even try a few leisurely rounds of golf. Mr Ajis was always very understanding and helpful. I owe him a huge debt for giving my life back again.

I am so pleased you are doing well. All the hard work and sacrifice you have made has paid off. I just wish I could have done it much sooner for you. Thank you for your patience and forbearance during this difficult time. I hope your new ankle gives you decades of pain free movement!
