I consulted Professor Sheen as I was suffering from a large inguinal hernia. I was apprehensive about surgery to correct the problem because, some years previously, I had already had abdominal surgery for a different problem and was worried about further surgery in the same area.
On the initial consultation Professor Sheen was friendly and reassuring.He explained what an operation to correct the hernia would involve and that he understood the issues presented by the original surgery.
I went ahead with the proceedure more confident following my consultation and knowing of Professor Sheen's comprehensive experience.
I'm glad I went ahead with the surgery and am making a good recovery.
