During my one day stay I was treated very well by Ms S Ahmed and her team. All stages of the operation were explained in as much detail as I wanted, all members of the team from admin to doctors were caring, kind and good humoured. My concerns and questions were treated with the utmost respect and everyone listened to me. The provision of information during the day was impeccable but I had a hiccup two weeks before when I was sent to the wrong Hospital(Westmorland General) by the booking department. Can I mention the nurses in the ward where I was taken to recover. They were incredibly attentive, professional and generally helpful and caring. I was in some pain and could not speak but they checked me every few minutes. A range of food/drinks was offered bearing in mind my throat pain. Pain relief was regularly offered. I was massively impressed. The provision of information on discharge was a bit lacking, but I managed to find the information. Generally a first class experience, I couldn't have treated better in a 5* Hotel. My thanks to all concerned.
