From my initial appointment in the Breast Unit at Broomfield Hospital when I first met Sascha Dua, I cannot speak highly enough of her and the care I received. It has been so comforting and reassuring to go through this experience with the continuity of always being looked after by one person. From the start I have felt completely at ease, because of Sascha's professional but calm and really quite lovely nature. I have been fortunate to have a lot of good friends and family around me and I wanted them all to meet her so they could see for themselves just how lovely she is. From a surgical point of view, the small incision from the Sentinel Node Biopsy was really neat and healed quickly. With regard to my Masectomy and reconstructive surgery, although obviously a lot of credit goes to the excellent Plastics Team, Sacha also had a large part to play in carrying out the Masectomy which would have contributed greatly to the reconstructions success. It has been an emotional journey for me, as I am sure it is for everyone, and there has been a couple of hiccups along the way. But through it all Sacha Dua and my Key Breast Nurse Keiva Noble have been there for me. Even coming to see me on the ward when I was admitted with a Breast Infection a week before my operation was scheduled. The level of care that I have received has gone far and beyond my expectations. I feel truly blessed that I got transferred to Broomfield from Colchester. I am sure that Sascha is held in the highest regard by her colleagues, I know that as her patient I do. Thank you.....for everything. Kindest regards, Lisa Brennan
