The treatment received from Miss Sarah Muirhead-Allwood (SMA) was exceptional in every respect. I am a veteran of numerous orthpaedic procedures due to a failure of the NHS to diagnose a congenital dislocated hip. SMA's knowledge, experience and passion for her specialty underpins her ability to engage with my concerns and thoughtfully discuss the recommended surgical strategy with me. Her commitment to achieving the best patient outcome is legendary. She continued to operate through a fire alarm during my surgery as I was under general anesthetic and open for a total hip replacement. I experienced NO POST OPERATIVE PAIN and now am able to walk better that I have been able to at any time in the last 20 years.
