I was recommended Miss Holt by my sister who had a DIEP reconstruction done by her. I went for my consultation and from the offset I knew Miss Holt was the surgeon for me. She answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease by explaining everything thoroughly. I had even arranged a further telephone conversation at a later date as I had a few more questions to ask and it was arranged no problem. Choosing to have a preventive mastectomy at a young age (31) with a then, 18 month old baby was a difficult decision to make, however I felt Rachel was very supportive by giving me all of the information I needed to make my decision. Fast forward to almost 18 months post op (direct to implants) and I couldn't be happier with my results! The aftercare was outstanding. The breast nurses are so nice and only a phone call away if I have any questions. I am back weight lifting in the gym and stronger than I've ever been. (Something I worried about not being able to do post op). Everything feels completely normal and my scars have almost faded! The care I have received has been second to none and I can't thank Rachel enough.
