I met Ms Loughlin at Altnagelvin hospital and even though she was giving me some bad news {Colorectal cancer} see put me immediately at ease. She came across as both caring and professional. She was also friendly and approachable. She even had my radiotheropy moved forward so that I didn't have a 2 week delay with the surgery. Ms Loughlin carried out the surgery herself and I am now 6 weeks into recovery Many thanks to this lady

I first met this great lady was in ward 32 in Altangelvin hospital a short time after being diagnosed with bowel cancer when she informed me that it was going to be herself that was going to carry out the surgery .Within a few minutes of meeting this great surgeon .I felt completely at ease and what ever worries I did have before the operation soon disappeared I felt relaxed and even looked forward for the surgery. Knowing that I would be in good care .not only in the hands of a great surgeon .but a person who is caring. And a very very compassionate lady. Who I will be for ever in dept. This lady this woman .this surgeon .saved my life THANKN YOU
