I have been a patient of Miss Patel for a period of ten years and I think my treatment
throughout that time has been quite outstanding.
After my first major surgery I was very ill for several weeks and Miss Patel visited me
every single day to monitor my progress and assess my treatment.
She has always taken a great deal of time to patiently explain the progress of my treatment and is extremely pleasant to talk to.
I think Furness General is extremely fortunate to have this very talented Surgeon on its staff.
I may add that the specialist nurses working along side Miss Patel especially Suzanne
Thompson have been excellent in their support throughout my treatment.
