I had an acute appendicitis in April while away from home, and feel very fortunate that I was under the care of Miss Patel. She has an excellent reputation, which is much deserved as she was highly professional, explained exactly what was going to happen and gave me much confidence. My incision scars were immaculate, and by 3 weeks after the operation I was fully recovered. Many thanks to all in Furness General Hospital for amazing care.
