Professor Jahangiri performed life saving surgery on my partner in 2013. Throughout the patient journey she demonstrated compassion, sensitivity, assertive leadership and expert clinical competence. She fought tirelessly to perform an ten hour highly complex aortic valve replacement surgical procedure that led against all odds to a full recovery. We owe so much to you Marian and we are delighted that others will now be able to benefit from your expertise. Professor David Sines CBE
