First consultations are important and immediately there was a strong rapport with Miss Sacks ( Lisa) I did not feel pressured into making any decisions about the surgery that I was interested in. Infact, Lisa makes you go away and do some 'homework' in order to gain a greater insight into what the best outcome is that you are trying to achieve! On a personal level, Lisa and her team are very warm and friendly.

I thought long and hard before my breast reduction, I was very apprehensive by Lisa was supportive and kind throughout all the appointments. The whole team at the hospital were caring and considerate. I now feel so much more comfortable and have no back/neck pain anymore.

I had a breast enlargement with Miss Lisa Sacks. I was very nervous as I had never had an operation before. I am thrilled with the results and really pleased that I chose Miss Sacks for my surgery. I wanted quite large implants and I was worried that I might think that they werent big enough, but i need not have worried as they are perfect for me. She explained everything there was to know and made me feel at ease. The procedure was as I expected, and the after care was amazing. With all the advice, my scars are barely visible. Thank you once again for everything. I would recommend Miss Sacks to anyone.

I was referred to Lisa Sacks for the removal of a suspicious lump, that had appeared on my arm. A great deal of time was taken during the initial consultation to find out about me and my lifestyle. Detailed notes and photographs were taken and, as I had lived in Australia for many years, several other lesions were agreed to be removed. I was fully appraised of the procedures to be carried out and what the results of surgery would be. I left this visit feeling I was in safe hands. Lisa Sacks consultation rooms and operating theatre; The Bristol Nuffield Hospital at, The Chesterfield was an excellent environment and a pleasure to visit. I found the staff friendly and Liana, her personal assistant, was extremely helpful and kept me informed by phone and emails. On the day; two, reassuring members, of the nursing staff prepared me and I was met by Lisa outside of the theatre, where we completed the relevant paperwork, and she walked me inside. The surgery was to be carried out by local anaesthetic so, although confident of my surgeon, I was feeling nervous! However this completely evaporated due to Lisa's empathy and calming nature so I was completely at ease before her work began. Throughout, she informed me of what she intended to do and was concerned that I was comfortable at all times. We were also able to carry on a conversation, over a range of topics, no doubt a distraction measure on her part... it worked as I thoroughly enjoyed it! She provided detailed instructions on aftercare before I was returned to the ward, where I was looked after very well prior to leaving. Strange as it sounds, on leaving the hospital that day, I had found the whole experience to be pleasant, interesting and I felt totally relaxed! I followed all the instructions given; I had no problems and required very few painkillers. On returning to have the stitches removed, by Lisa, she was very pleased with the healing process and was able to confirm the biopsy results were good which Liana then followed up with written details, for me. Although Lisa was satisfied with the outcome, she requested I return in 3 months, for a follow up, purely for her benefit which I was perfectly happy to do. I have just returned for that visit; Lisa examined my arm and face and was extremely happy to see how well the incisions had healed. In fact she was unable to find the spot on my face without referring to her notes and my indicating the area! She has provided me with lots of advice on diet and caring for my skin which I intend to follow. I recommend Lisa Sacks, not only for her skills as a surgeon, but for her confidence inducing and reassuring manner which was much appreciated, during this worrying health issue.
