She listened to how the problems with my hip were affecting my day to day life, particularly in relation to being unable to work. She explained clearly to me the options available, and when I opted for surgery, she clearly explained the possible outcomes, both good and bad.
I met with her prior to my surgery to discuss any last-minute concerns. She was available on the morning of my surgery again to discuss any concerns and followed up with a visit post-surgery. The hip replacement has been transformational! I have gone from being able to walk only a short distance with a stick, 1 year on I am walking 10,000 steps a day and back in employment.
