It's changed my quality of life, definitely. I was walking unevenly and leaning over and now I can walk straight and my posture feels as though it's come back, so it is completely normal now. Going up the stairs, it used to hinder me and now I can just walk up the stairs. You don't realise at the time how difficult things are with arthritis in the hip, and only after having it replaced it feels so much better and there is a big improvement to my quality of life. Getting out of a car, I used to get so much pain, it's not there any more.
People are hesitant, which I was, I didn't want to have surgery, of course, but go ahead! The improvement it will give you, no pain, I used to have pain in my lower back, even that has gone. I would recommend it, definitely.
