Having previously had private treatment including surgery from a consultant I really liked, I could no longer afford the private consultations for a stubborn on-going sinus infection. I switched to the NHS and was allocated a consultation through the Choose and Book system with Miss Ching. She was welcoming and friendly and as well as being very business-like and efficient was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humour. Above all she was well informed about the previous history of my condition having read my notes. This was particularly reassuring and is something many doctors in my experience do not take the trouble to do. It makes all the difference to an anxious patient. I have had two consultations with Miss Ching and have now been discharged from her clinic. Her advice for ongoing maintenance of my condition to prevent it returning has been clear, helpful and reassuring both to me and to my wife. Should my problems recur I would certainly wish to see her again.
