On 8-March I had a TURP operation completed by Miss Eleanor Ray at KIMS. I initially met her at Darenth Valley Hospital where she explained the procedure to me, gave me alternative options and put my mind at ease. She gave me quality time to explain things and did not rush me in any way. I felt my quality of care was excellent and Miss Ray is an absolute professional who inspires confidence. She answered all my queries and questions without making me feel awkward.
For anyone else considering a TURP, I have had no pain and it has been so much less traumatic than I ever thought possible. So far I am pleased that I went ahead with the procedure.
