Miss Akolekar has been by my side all the way through my 2nd experience of breast cancer. I have always felt cared for and listened to. She has a wonderfully calming, gentle demeanour and explains everything in an unhurried understandable manner.
I had a mastectomy with reconstruction which involved Miss Akolekar working alongside another surgeon. They gave me the best possible outcome I could have hoped for and I feel extremely grateful to them both for the care and attention they provided.
I have always felt I am in the safest hands and although I have now been discharged, I know that I would not hesitate to choose Miss Akolekar if I needed any advice in the future.
