Ms Cara Baker is one of the most respected and experienced safe practising Consultant Oesophageal -Gastric, and General Surgeons,who works at St Thomas's She generates high standards ,compassion , caring and kindness towards her patients. Ms Baker specialises in the management of patients with Oesophageal and Gastric Cancer,Upper Gastric Intestinal surgery, including hiatal hernias,of which she performed a sucessful procedure on me. .Also she performs other surgery conditions,such as gallstones and Upper GI endoscopy. Ms Baker is always open to new innovations applying research to improve and apply modern techniques and skills to surgery. She demonstrates these skills in the 2nd edition of her joint book Rapid Surgery, which is now out for sale. She's uses Laparoscopy during her key hole surgery and aims to minimise wound sizes to allow quick healing. I would encourage and recommend Ms Baker to anyone who may need surgery.
