My daughter was seen by Dr Parmar for an eye condition for approximately 4 years. I felt that she didn't listen to me and wasn't particularly interested in my concerns. She had been trying to discharge my daughter for a number of years but I specifically asked this not to happen. During our last appointment she had already decided to discharge my daughter and mentioned this as we walked through the door. We spent more time in the waiting room and about 5 minutes with this doctor; she looked briefly at my daughter's eyes and then told me she was writing to my doctor to inform she had been discharged. I later received a copy of this letter that mentioned 6/5 and 6/4 and have absolutely no idea what this means, whether this is good or bad. It is a real shame that this doctor was more keen to discharge a patient, rather than provide adequate care. I am extremely disappointed.
