I was diagnosed June 2021, referred to Queen Elizabeth’s, as you can imagine I was in a daze, still in shock, at first I sure one of mrs whites team, he was very thorough, and spent time listening.and answering questions, this was the first time I had seen my tumour fully, was just me gob smack my daughter couldn’t believe the size of the tumour, but I was reassured that the tumour I had was in the best possible place and the tumour was more than likely benign, at a later date I meet mrs white, all my worries just melted away just by meeting her, I would truly love to thank mrs white and her team for there amazing work, words can not explain how I feel, but so great full to everyone involved in me coming through what I can only say was a really bad time in my life, so that’s to all the mrs white team at Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham,

Very pleased with the outcome of my operation and the compassion shown by Mrs. White and all of her Team. Mrs. White is very approachable and I had complete faith in her. She is very down to earth and completely understood my concerns before the operation, she was very reassuring.

Mrs White helped me at my greatest time of need. She is an eminent neurosurgeon with great empathy and compassion for her patients. She Is excellent at her job and is extremely knowledgeable. When I saw her today and describe worsening problems, Mrs White was extremely concerned and acted immediately. I will continue to see her yearly.

Anwen was the most sympathetic and at the same time matter of fact professional we have known, being responsible with her Team of Registrars for the saving and then recovery of our son James when he suffered a major Brain Haemorrhage caused by a AVM in November 2014 It was very touch and go but now he is back at work after a long recovery and rehab from June 2016, part time and only suffering some disability in right arm and leg we cannot thank her and all who assisted enough Richard & Diana Young
