On first meeting Ms Chaudhry, I was immediately struck by her empathetic ability to understand the medical, emotional and cosmetic concerns of a patient facing breast cancer for a second time after 14 years (initial diagnosis, surgery etc was at a different hospital). Out of that 1st consultation, came a staged treatment plan that exceeded my expectations. The surgery and post-operative surgical care have been fantastic. It is a measure of her commitment, Ms Chaudhry even gave up a day's holiday to operate. I am awaiting further surgery and have absolute confidence in her and the team at GWH. I cannot finish the review without including her reassuring, warm and positive manner. I always leave her with a smile, which in the circumstances is a tribute in itself.
