I was recommended by my GP to have a facial tumour removered in Broomfield in 2007 I loved the way staff are there so helpful, friendly When my tumour resurfaced 10 years later i asked to go back to Broomfield for my treatment It was devastating to hear my old consultant Had left but pauline was great at reassuring me on the phone that it was going to me fine , how right she was I met Dr Tzafatta in September of 2017, only to find my few tumours that I thought I had , had multiplied To 10 and was deep within my facial muscles , I was under the knife in a couple of weeks ,November I had my second op to remove the rest of them i loved that Dr tzafatta explained everything that was happening & what she was going to do for me She made it sound so easy & put me straight at ease as if I had nothing to worry about so friendly and is genuinely interested on how you are & if you have any concerns, Dr tzafatta shows so much respect to her patiences and team , St. Andrews in Broomfield is the only hospital I know that still have a lot of the Same staff & are so friendly always smiling as they say After all it’s team work DR Tazafetta argree she will do the hard bit & her team will explain what I can & can’t do If we both do our jobs our success Rate of healing & recovery will be even greater You do put your trust & confidence in consultant & there teams from operating theatres To the nurses On wards to Physio dressing teams & receptionist all amazing I only wish all hospitals was run like this one it speaks volumes when you have the right consultant & a great team ,I had radiotherapy at Southend Dr tzattta even spoke to the consultant down there & check my progress, when I spoke to some patients there only to find I wasn’t the only patient she had worked on, it’s amazing the success stories you hear I could be in safer hands & thank you still smears never enough
