Dr ZB is always calm, caring and patient but firm; offering a positive and constructive interpretation of the current situation. As a parent of a child who has been acutely unwell and is making a slow but steady recovery I often arrive for monthly review with Dr ZB feeling disheartened but tend to leave feeling more confident and positive about progress made by my child. A strength of Dr ZB is her ability to instil confidence in the parent and to emphasise this confidence to the young person too. It really helps.
Communication: update/summary of progress by written report could improve service.
