My teenage son was seen by Dr Hyer and had a colonoscopy performed by him. The colonoscopy was done under sedation, so my son was awake and aware of all that was happening. Dr Hyer was very good at putting him at ease before and throughout the procedure. Despite being slightly nervous beforehand, my son actually ended up enjoying the colonoscopy as he found watching it live on screen very interesting and Dr Hyer answered all his many questions good-naturedly. I was allowed in the room and the procedure was performed very thoroughly by Dr Hyer and his team. He was also very responsive to emails and queries.
