Its easy to be negative but I''ll make an exception here. I've heard he's gone and I'm not sad. Quite shocking bedside manner, consultations consisted of him typing and you watching or listening. Any attempt to interact, discuss how you have progressed is met with resistance as he's not interested. No diagnosis forthcoming after several visits and he said 'there's no rush...' but I'd have died before he would have committed himself. Whilst I understand some conditions can be difficult to diagnose, not being able to get a diagnosis has huge implications for a patient's life, work, finances etc whilst he sits on the fence unwilling to commit. Went private in the end as I was getting nowhere, and got a professional, compassionate diagnosis within 15 mins from another fantastic Neurologist on the same background information and tests. He seems massively disinterested and dismissive, and to be unhappy in his work. I hope he finds peace & contentment elsewhere.
