I met Dr Lennie after I had an atrial fibrillation attack in 2013 and it was decided I should have a pacemaker fitted in Dumfries. I had grown up in Bermuda and my major subject was Spanish so when she introduced herself to me in the operating thatre and I realised she was Spanish, we hit it off right away. She was so friendly while stil being a professional that we were practising my Spanish while she inserted my pacemaker,explaining everything. She was so good that the time flew and I was completely relaxed during the whole procedure. I still tell anybody who will listen to me about the beautiful surgeon who inserted my pacemaker. I remember her name by thinking of Very Lynn or humming 'We'll meet again'.
