Dr venthan mailoo is an outstanding doctor im so glad to have been within his care at some point during this daunting stay. I was admitted to hospital with 3 bad breaks and dislocation in my left ankle I eventually after having the discolation fixed was casted up for the night ready for surgery the following day. Surgery day arrives and I am very nervous the moment I met Dr mailoo my nerves became scared of me!! I felt so much better I was overwhelmed trying to decide wether or not to stay awake or be put too sleep And he sat with me weighed up all the pros and cons for both procedures and helped me to come to a conscious decision that I could then feel comfortable about he really does go the extra mile for his patients including talking too me sitting with me comforting me before and all throughout my procedure we spoke about life and jobs, we looked at available jobs together on indeed that I'm interested in within the health industry too, he was just all round a fantastic distraction from what was happening too Me and it is exactly what you need in a time like that it's clear he is devoted to his job and his patients and there's no doubt in my mind that if more doctors acted in the ways of Dr venthan mailoo more and more people would have a strengthened faith in the healthcare system would like to end on a massive thankyou to Dr mailoo and all the other staff I had the pleasure of meeting during my stay at the Royal Derby hospital my care went so well and it's all down to your calming caring personalities.
