As the mother of a newborn baby who needed to be admitted for 5days, the care my baby received from this paediatric consultant was truly great. A very sympathetic consultant. He took his time with us as parents to explain everything in detail, addressing all our concerns. He ensured it was a shared decision making throughout the admission when it came to the care of our child. His manner always came across as kind and patient. He also took his time to enquire about my health as a new mother even though that was outside of the scope of his specialty and ensured my needs were addressed also. Working in the health care profession myself and also having gone through admission for a similar condition with my other child at a different hospital, I can say in my experience that this consultant is one of the kindest and truly goes above and beyond when it concerns his patients.
