He allowed me to make my own decisions and treated me as a capable person with understanding. He was clear in his communications, accommodating and reassuring. He had a good rapport with his nurses and didn't lord it over them.
I would probably have chosen the entonox with a bit more information about the degree of discomfort at the bends and the length of time the procedure took without sedation.
