Delivered our son at the Portland, water birth. All fine and our consultant left thinking we would be discharged soon after. DR fang did her rounds and said our son had swallowed water/looked floppy and he needed to go to NICU. We were scared so said yes...Dr Fang was very unemotional and didn't care. When I called our consultant he advised to move our son to Great Ormon Street. When I relayed to Dr Fang she said "yeah your son doesn't need NICU anymore and can be discharged!!) My experience is Dr Fang just wanted us to spend more time and money at Portland and didn't care about us. A terrible Dr and shouldn't be near new parents.
