I have been under the care of Dr Ramakrishnan at Warrington Hospital for the past 11 years, following surgery for an ileo-anal pouch (subsequent to removal of my entire colon as a result of ulcerative colitis). During this time (when I have experienced a number of flare-ups in my pouch - "pouchitis") Dr Ramakrishnan has always been most supportive and sympathetic, as well as being highly professional. When I was experiencing the worst of these bouts of pouchitis, I contacted Dr Ramakrishnan's secretary, and he has was able to fit me in as a priority appointment. I always feel that he genuinely listens to and takes full account of my particular individual symptoms and worries. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
