I made an appointment with Dr Ramakrishnan as I was very worried about pancreatic cancer, which I have lost immediate family to. Dr Ramakrishnan understood my concerns and for my peace of mind he arranged for a CT scan to check the pancreas more closely. The CT scan came back clear on my pancreas but picked up a problem with my kidneys which showed a tumour, which I had not had any symptoms for. He immediately referred me to a colleague for this.
I also had a gastroscopy with Dr Ramakrishnan to check my oesophagus and stomach to confirm the symptoms I had were not related to a problem there.
Dr Ramakrishnan is kind, patient and very thorough. He spent time explaining all the checks and the results. He made me feel that time was not an issue and would talk and answer any questions or worries that I had.
I highly recommend Dr Ramakrishan to anyone who has symptoms, concerns or worries.
