I had initially seen a consultant in ENT and was referred onto gastro.
Lovely, friendly consultant (having previously worked in the NHS for 16 years met some very rude ones!)
Took his time during my initial consultant to check everything, and booked me in for bloods, ultrasound and scope.
Didn't question or try to persuade not to have GA for the procedure.
Would highly recommend as he clearly enjoys his job and his enthusiasm for showing me the photos of my ultrasound and scope was great! Not to everyones taste, but I did enjoy seeing my upper GI tract and stomach in colour.
